Bill Gates is not the world's richest man anymore


The Mexican telecom tycoon, Carlos Slim, according to Forbes annual list of the world's richest billionaires for 2010, has beaten Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.


The founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, won this title 14 times in the past 15 years.
Carlos Slim has made his fortune thanks to the growth the stocks in its holdings.
According to Forbes magazine, the wealth of Slim in the past 12 months increased by 18.5 billion dollars.

On the second place is Bill Gates with 53 billion dollars, while third is Buffett, whose wealth has increased by 10 billion to 47 billion dollars.

The average net worth of the billionaires is the world is $3.5 billion, up $500 million compared with the year earlier.

Currently there are 1.011 billionaires in the world.
